Uruha Ma - Flame of Recca

Uruha Ma

Uruha Ma is the champion of Arena B, but they eventually lose to Hokage. Their leader is Magensha, and the other members are Gashakura, Kashamaru and Tsukishiro.

Magensha is the leader of Uruha Ma. He has the ability to create portals into his dimension, where he resides. Because his true body is within his dimension, his nonexistent body will made him appear immortal and indestructible. His brother is Gashakura, who is also part of Uruha Ma.

He managed to kill Jisho and the rest of his team single-handedly, much to Neon's shock when she discovered that he massacred Jisho. Because of that, Neon hated him. He destroyed all that opposed him, leading his team to become the champions of Arena B. He faced against Domon in the semifinals, but Fuuko went in to lessen the load on Domon. However, Magensha managed to suck her into his dimension. Meanwhile, another Magensha was chasing after Yanagi, who came in contact with Recca. Recca managed to crack his Magodou, but then it was discovered that the Magensha Recca was facing was a fake, who was paid to dress up as him. However, the damage had been done: because of the cracked Magodou, Fuuko, Tsukishiro and Kashamaru managed to find him and remove him from his dimension, freeing themselves in the process. While Fuuko and the others were fighting the true Magensha, Domon was completely defeating Magensha. Once the real Magensha returned to his body, Domon easily finished him off. After his defeat, Kurei appeared, questioning his loyalty. Even though Magensha begged to be spared, Kurei had J-Keeper kill him, much to the agony of his brother, Gashakura.

He is last mentioned by Kadotsu, when Kadotsu faced off against Kashamaru, Gashakura, Tsukishiro and Saicho. There, it is discovered that Magensha was copying Kadotsu's look, and then Kadotsu calls him weak, angering Gashakura.

Gashakura
Gashakura is the co-captain of Uruha Ma and Magensha's younger brother. He wields a large morning star and the madōgu Magagumo, which acts as both armor and a weapon. He possesses a great sense of honor and respects his brother despite being fully aware of his atrocities. He befriends the Hokage after being defeated fair and square by Fūko. Later in the manga, he (along with Kashamaru and Tsukishiro) infiltrates SODOM to aid the Hokage in the final battle.

Kashamaru
Kashamaru is a ninja whose madōgu, the Nisebi, allows him to mimic a flame master's powers to a certain extent. He is defeated when Rui decides to lend Recca her powers.

Tsukishiro

Tsukishiro is a handsome and vain young man. He doesn't like it when he is called trash or ugly, and always tries to protect his face.

In his original debut, he always appeared wrapped up in bandages. He finally comes out in his match against Hokage's Koganei Kaoru, revealing himself. Soon, he demonstrated his ability to become invisible, which gave him the upper hand against Koganei. However, Joker, who at first gave help to Hokage, tipped Kaoru in a way to find Tsukishiro, Kaoru managed to find his blood on Oboro, and sliced it to pieces. With Tsukishiro defeated, Koganei squished his face, which he was protecting all the time.

As punishment for losing, Magensha sends Tsukishiro and Kashamaru into his dimension. Later, when Fuuko was sucked in, she, Tsukishiro and Kashamaru find out where the real Magensha was. In the manga, they corner him and Fuuko forces him out with Fuujin. In the anime, they corner him, but Magensha absorbs the power of his crystal, but is still defeated by Fuuko's Fuujin. Once Magensha was defeated, Tsukishiro and the other two manage to get themselves out of the dimension. After the death of Magensha, the remainder of Uruha Ma quit the Uruha and cut all connections with Mori Koran, and joined the others.

Abilities
Magensha: He can suck people and objects into his dimension, where he also resides. By living in his dimension, his body is indestructible, because he has no body inside.
Gashakura:He uses a retractable "spider armor" to attack and defend at the same time. It has four large "tentacles" made of steel that can be mentally controlled by its user
Kashamaru: He owns Nisebi, which can replicate flames, including Recca's dragons.
Tsukishiro: He owns Oboro, which allows him to become invisible. This allows him to nearly defeat Koganei, but Koganei rips it into shreds. He keeps his other weapon, Kaigetsu, which is a curved, boomerang-like weapon.

Magensha (魔元紗) is the leader of Uruha Ma and is the older brother of Gashakura.

Appearance
Magensha appears as a huge being, even larger than his brother Gashakura. His entire body is covered in a magenta cloak. He wears a horned helmet with a face mask bearing an eye symbol on it, with long, blonde hair attached to the mask. Lastly, his shoulders are covered in large armor. This appearance is revealed to be the puppet at his control.

However in reality, Magensha is a frail looking man with long, green hair with his body covered in a cloak. According to Kadotsu, Magensha copied his looks. In the anime, his long hair is dark capri blue and wears a white long robe with his puppet's eye symbol embedded on his robe.

Personality
Magensha had a low tolerance for failure, as shown when he sent both of his teammates to the Majigen dimension and attempted to do likewise to his little brother, Gashakura. He is incredibly arrogant, and continuously reminds his foes that their attacks can do him no harm. However, Magensha is actually very cowardly, as opposed to his brother - he hides in the Majigen because he has no true fighting potential on his own and relies solely on the powers of his madogu. When put into direct danger, he became a frightened mess.

However before being burned into ashes by Kurei, Magensha scarily admits to him that he was following orders by his adopted father Koran Mori to capture Yanagi by force during the battle.

Ura Butou Satsujin Saga
Abilities
Despite Magensha's status as the most powerful member of his team, he was, in reality, the weakest in a sense. In reality, underneath his cloak was just empty space, while Magensha simply projected his voice from the body, making all attacks go straight through him, hitting only air.

Magensha's primary weakness is that he himself is not a fighter, and he hides in his own dimension while controlling his puppet body from the inside.

Madōgu
Hōmashin (砲魔神, Dread Cannon, Viz: Demon Cannon): A bazooka-like cannon that Magensha uses as his primary method of attack. It uses human body parts in order to turn them into flying spiritual projectiles, strong enough to completely rip a person in half. However, it is possible for it to be deflected, as was shown by Domon.

Jigenkai Gyōku (次元界玉, Dimension Ball): A madōgu that allows Magensha to send his enemies to another dimension (the Majigen) through a wormhole. Alternatively, it could also be used to trap people in the Jigenkai Gyoku's dimension, which is an empty, dark space, with breathable air but no gravity. It is in this place where the real Magensha and Jigenkai Gyoku resides, and can only be controlled from the real world through Magensha's mask, which is an extension of the Jigenkai Gyoku. This madōgu can also be used to switch places with anyone at any given time.

Gashakura (餓紗喰) is a member of Uruha Ma, as well as its second in command.

Gashakura is a gigantic man, well over the height of any normal human. His body is protected by an equally huge and heavy white armor that seems to be made out of a craggy rock material. Over his chest, thinner sections connect to the main pieces, which are three long, thick plates that extend down to his waist. Gashakura's arms, as well as his waist are also covered in this armor. His helmet is made of the same material as his armor and has an upside down red triangle on the forehead.

When Gashakura removes his armor, he has the appearance of a man in his late twenties with short dark hair. The triangle symbol on his helmet is also on Gashakura's forehead as well.

Personality
Gashakura's sole motivation for entering the tournament was to find fighters who could equal, or even surpass his own strength. Initially, he was quite disappointed with the fighters he and his team had encountered, considering them all weak and easy wins. During his fight with Fūko, Gashakura finally got the battle he craved. He also made it clear multiple times that he would not go easy on her simply because she was a woman. Gashakura also was the only member of his team that didn't attempt to play any sort of tricks on his opponent and fought them straight. He always seeks a fair fight, as seen when he destroyed the laser towers, damaging himself in order to make things even with Fūko, who had been hit unexpectedly by the lasers.

Part in the Story
Ura Butou Satsujin
Gashakura's first appearance where he watches the battle of both Tsukishiro and Kashamaru's battle which both were defeated by Koganei and Recca. He also threatens Kashamaru when he is about to be defeated and also watches both being sucked from his brother's Majigen Dimension.

Before his battle against Fūko Kirisawa, he tells Recca about his condition where he was inflicted from Kashamaru's weapon by applying the sleeping potion. Just as the potion takes effect on Recca, he was saved by Fūko when Gashakura attacks him with his Morning Star. He noticed about the darts she threw on his wrist.

Gashakura battles Fūko at the semi-finals of the tournament and became amused to see her destroy his Morning Star with the use of her Fūjin and its Kaze no Tsume. Now that he found a worthy adversary, Gashakura finally able to use the Magagumo madogu to fight her and it becomes an excited battle between his strength against her speed until the interupption of the laser net activated by Kōran Mori to make Fūko inflicted with laser burns. Gashakura tells Fūko to give up which she stubbornly refuses. As the fight becomes equal, Gashakura knocks Fūko into the laser net for the second time as her laser burns on her back got worsen.

Instead of dealing the final blow to Fūko, Gashakura uses the four arms from its Magagumo to destroy the laser net to make it fair. As Kagerō mentioned, Gashakura's power from his madogu is reduced drastically as Fūko's injuries are much worse than he is. Gashakura manages to knock Fūko down as her madogu was removed from the Fūjin's main core. Therefore, Fūko desperately to stand up and fight and uses one of the small crystals from her Fūjin. Gashakura attempts to attack her but his madogu's tentacles are destroyed from its barrier. He is soon knocked into the ceiling by Fūko's Kazedama demonstrated by Fūjin's true form leading his defeat at Fūko's hands.

His brother Magensha attempts to kill him by using the Demon Cannon after being defeated by Fūko but instead he knocks him out of the ring. Once Fūko is sucked into the Majigen Dimension, Gashakura tells Recca that she, Tsukishiro and Kashamaru are alive before being threatened by Magensha.

Gashakura later watches Domon Ishijima's battle against Magensha until in his defeat. He also witnesses his brother being burned into ashes by Kurei after he scarily admits to him that he was following orders from Kōran Mori to capture Yanagi Sakoshita by force during the match. He is never seen again in the anime at the near end of the series. But in the manga it reveals that his team Uruha Ma had reached in second place as Team Hokage became champions in the tournament.

SODOM arc
Along with the remnant of Uruha Ma, Gashakura appears at SODOM at the same time as the Kū clan, assisting Team Hokage in destroying Mori's zombies. He, Kashamaru, Tsukishiro, and Saiha distract Kadotsu from Kaoru's track and engage him in battle. Kadotsu reveals that Magensha had always tried imitating him, but failed, much to Gashakura's rage. Even so, Kadotsu effortless takes the upper hand in the battle, and the group is only saved by Kurei's timely arrival and Joker's persuasion for Kurei to leave them alive.

Abilities

Enhanced Strength: Gashakura is able to swing his two-hundred kilogram weapon, Morning Star, with ease.

Equipment

Morning Star (anime)

Morning Star: Gashakura's main weapon of choice is a huge spiked ball attached to a long steel chain( According to the referee of his match, it weighed two-hundred kilograms, but Gashakura swung it around with tremendous ease. It was made useless by Fuko after she sliced it up.

Madogu
Magagumo / Magagamba (凶蜘蛛, Foul Spider): A retractable "spider armor" worn by Gashakura of Uruha Ma that can be used to attack and defend at the same time. It has six large "tentacles" with powerful 'claws' made of steel that can be mentally controlled by its user. According to Kagero, the user needs great physical strength in order to use this weapon.

Tsukishiro (月白) is the pretty boy member of Uruha Ma.

Appearance
Initially, Tsukishiro wrapped his entire body up in bandages like a mummy, something he learned from reading H.G. Well's, The Invisible Man. A handsome young male in his early to mid twenties, Tsukishiro has a somewhat androgynous face which he treasures above all else. His attire consists of a simple skin tight black shirt, as well as black pants. He also wears fingerless gloves with a crescent moon insignia on the back of the hand. Lastly, he wears a white cloth around his waist, which is actually his second madogu.

Tsukishiro also sometimes holds a rose in his mouth.

Personality
Tsukishiro is a handsome and vain young man. He constantly reminds everyone of how beautiful his face is and sees it as his primary motivation to ensure nothing mars his flawless features. He tends to underestimate his foes, as he believed he could defeat Kaoru without even having to be touched himself. While usually calm and tactful, if anything, or anyone brings any sort of harm to his face, Tsukishiro can and will fly into a rage until the attacker is destroyed. Tsukishiro also dislikes those who he believes are undereducated, as seen when he referenced historical stories and gave a short lecture on the laws of light refraction.

However, Tsukishiro is also shown to be afraid when his beautiful face is about to be beaten badly after Kaoru destroys his second madogu allowing him to beat him down in a same manner as he did to him.

With Tsukishiro defeated, Koganei squished his face, which he was protecting all the time. In the anime, it is the same as in the manga as Koganei beats his face senselessly with his punches rather than squishing him before he collapses due to blood loss. Both he and Koganei's fight ends up in a draw.

As punishment for losing, Magensha sends Tsukishiro and Kashamaru into his dimension. Later, when Fuko was sucked in, she, Tsukishiro and Kashamaru find out where the real Magensha was. In the manga, they corner him and Fuuko forces him out with Fuujin. In the anime, they corner him, but Magensha absorbs the power of his crystal, but is still defeated by Fuko's Fujin. After the death of Magensha, the remainder of Uruha Ma quit the Uruha and cut all connections with Koran Mori, and joined the others.

SODOM Saga
Tsukishiro reemerges at the beginning of the SODOM Arc along with the rest of his team and the Kuu to aid Hokage in their fight for Yanagi. It is discovered that Kagerou had requested for them to come and help them, as she sensed that it would be a hard battle. Tsukishiro first appears when Yagami (Mori's former bodyguard, whom Domon supposedly killed) calls them trash, and says "To call a beauty like me trash ... your punishment is death." It is shown that he still has Kaigetsu, which he uses to attack. Later, he, Kashamaru, Gashakura and Saicho take on Ura Uruha's greatest warrior, Kagetsu. He is sucked into a portal, and only comes out when Kurei arrives and destroys the gate.

Abilities
Oboro (朧, Hazy Moon) -
Oboro
A cloak of pure white linen made from mystic thread. It can make the user invisible by diverting light and vision away from them. However, if the cloak is soiled (by blood for example), it is rendered ineffective is he is seen before he completes his attack. This allows Koganei to rip it into shreds. It has the symbol haziness (朧, oboro) written on it.
Kaigetsu (海月, Ocean Moon) -
Kaigetsu
A boomerang-like sword, it is a curved blade similar to Persian swords. It is used very much like Mikazuki form of the Kōgon Anki, and has no major power beyond its boomerang throw. Kashamaru (火車丸) is a ninja in Uruha Ma whose madōgu, the Nisebi, allows him to mimic a flame master's powers to a certain extent.

Appearance
Kashamaru is a short man that wears a red ninja outfit. After being defeated by Recca and teaming with Tsukishiro and Fuko Kirisawa inside the Majigen Dimension, he has black hair styled in a small mohawk and has a remaining hair at the back.

Personality
Gloxinia Death Thorn 1
Gloxinia's sadistic persona.

In the past, Gloxinia used to be much happier and had an outgoing and caring personality often enjoying playing childish games as well as protecting the Fairy King's Forest, until an incident 3,000 years ago.
As a member of the Ten Commandments, Gloxinia has an upbeat and go-free personality but very sadistic demeanor, seemingly reveling in taunting others and killing. He holds a very deep loathing and resentment towards humans due to the betrayal Rou and his comrades committed towards Stigma when he initially believed his sister, Gerheade, was killed by him, but despite this, Drole notes he seems to enjoy imitating them.

After the Great Fight Festival he reverts to his original comedic, caring, headstrong and outgoing personality confidently stating to Zeldris he is ready to fight him at full force. Gloxinia even expressed how much he resents turning to the Demon Clan and glad he can atone for his sins in his final moments.

History
3,000 years ago
In the ancient Holy War 3,000 years ago, Gloxinia used to be friends and fought alongside both Drole and Meliodas as members of Stigma. But he was betrayed by Stigma and the human Rou and had something even more important than his own life stolen from him, his sister, Gerheade.[3] This drove him to turn to the Demon Clan because he felt all trusted comrades has stabbed him in the back, eventually becoming a demon himself and being appointed as one of the Ten Commandments. He was eventually sealed away in the Coffin of Eternal Darkness with the rest of the Demon Clan, by the Goddess Clan during the first Holy war.

Abilities and Equipment
As a member of the Ten Commandments and a former Fairy King, Gloxinia is extremely powerful. After receiving a commandment from the Demon King, Gloxinia obtained powers related to the Demon Clan, like their unique power of darkness, similar to Meliodas at Vaizel. He is capable of utilizing this dark power to form helicopter-shaped wings for flight. He keeps the tips of Basquias covered in this dark power at all times. His aura is so powerful that he makes the normally calm Hendrickson sweat in fear of his presence, combined with the other Ten Commandments and unnerved Meliodas when he sensed it several kilometers away. King has stated that the amount of power coming from him is incredibly huge.[4] As a Fairy, he can also control nature and has been shown to make Flower Dolls「花人形 Hana Ningyō」 from foliage.[5] These vegetation golems possesses tremendous power, vitality, and regeneration. Gloxinia with Drole's help is also powerful enough to go toe-toe with Chandler the highest-ranked Demon when he is using his full power and hold their own against him for a short amount of time.

Though physically weaker than the other members of the Ten Commandments due to his fairy nature, Gloxinia possesses immense endurance and durability as he not only survived but remained conscious from a massive attack by Escanor which destroyed the large boulder of Vaizel and threw him through the labyrinth Drole created though it did take him some time to recover and heal himself. Later he was able to endure attacks delivered by Meliodas with his demon mark activated in order to heal himself and Drole. Gloxinia also has great flight speed due to having the largest wings of fairies, seen when he managed to dodge some of Meliodas' attacks with his demon mark activated before being eventually outpaced. Furthermore, King took note of the greater speed he flew at while inside Gloxinia's body during his trial.

Abilities

Disaster「災厄ディザスター Dizasutā」: Gloxinia's innate power that he shares with King, the current Fairy King. This power allows to control life and death throughout nature and drawing out the power of Basquias.

Gloxinia Servant「花人形グロキシニアサーバント Gurokishinia Sābanto; literally meaning "Flower Doll"」: Gloxinia creates a golem in the likeness of Gerheade out of vegetation.[6]
Jumanju「呪ジュ蔓マン樹ジュ Jumanju; literally meaning "Cursed Vine Tree"」: Gloxinia summons a giant, wooden monster from the earth.

Levitation: As a fairy, Gloxinia is a able to levitate and fly. He can also levitate his Spirit Spear Basquias to use it in battle and lift up other people.
Heart Reading: Like all fairies, Gloxinia is able to hear the voice of the hearts of others, being able to perceive their thoughts.

Time Regression Spell: A technique from the Goddess Clan that allows to send the soul of some being towards the past.

Combined Techniques
Main article: Ore Tree Orudora
Combined Technique: Ko-ju Orudora「合技 鉱樹こうじゅオルドーラ Gōgi "Kō-ju Orudōra"; literally meaning "Ore Tree Orudora"」: A combined technique in which Gloxinia and Drole create a large tower combining minerals and plant DNA in which they lock their target. It is fire resistant and possesses regenerative abilities and a high elasticity capable of withstanding great pressure.[8] Because of its incredible elasticity, it's capable of detaining even the highest-ranking demon of the Demon Clan, Chandler, in his true form no less though only temporarily.

Commandment
The Demon King bestowed Gloxinia with the commandment of Repose「安息あんそく Ansoku」.[9] The effects of its curse are currently unknown.

Weapons
Main article: Basquias
He wields the Spirit Spear Basquias「霊槍バスキアス Reisō Basukiasu」, which is most commonly seen in the form of green, octopus-like tentacles wrapping around his body. It has at least ten forms

Relationships
Gerheade
Gerheade is Gloxinia's younger sister. The two were extremely close, and he protected her from almost anyone and anything. During the Great Fight Festival he creates a golem in the likeness of Gerheade during his battle against Diane and King, and is shown to be upset by its destruction. When they finally were reunited their relationship remained the same.

Meliodas
Long ago, he and Meliodas were close friends and comrades-in-arms during the war against the Demon Clan. Even now, he remains very interested in Meliodas, wishing to fight him in the Great Fight Festival. After leaving the Demon Clan, he respects Meliodas as much as he uses to and are back on good terms even fighting on his side against the Demon Clan. In his final moments, he wished for Meliodas to be rewarded for all his suffering.

Elizabeth
During the ancient war 3,000 years ago, Gloxinia and Elizabeth were friends and comrades. Not much is known about their relationship, though Gloxinia had said that she was a dear friend to both him and Drole. When he and Drole came to save the Seven Deadly Sins from Chandler, he finally realized that Elizabeth Liones was the reincarnation of the one of his dearest friends from 3,000 years ago. In his final moments he wished for her to be rewarded for all her suffering.

King
As the current Fairy King, and as a member of the Seven Deadly Sins, Gloxinia viewed King as not only as an enemy, but also as an unworthy successor to the title of Fairy King. This was seen during the Great Fighting Festival when he saw how King struggled to use the full power of his Spirit Spear Chastiefol during his battle, but he was impressed by King's determination to protect Diane, despite his criticisms on King's control of his power. Later when he and Drole approached King and Diane in battle, Gloxinia was impressed by King's readiness to battle him, though shrugged off most of King's attacks towards him, stating that he could be stronger than he currently is if he had his wings. After King passed his trial and his wings grew, Gloxinia opinion towards King has significantly changed. He could easily see King's growth from the trial and also even saw some similarities between the two of them, mostly their love for their sisters as well as their love for the Fairy King's Forest. As a result, Gloxinia now seems to hold King in high regards, as he came to his rescue during the fight against Chandler, and his final words to King were how even though his wings had just grown, his power has now become comparable to his own, that eventually as they grow he would definitely become the most powerful Fairy King of all times, suggesting that he finally viewed King as a worthy successor.

Ten Commandments

Drole
Drole and he pair up when the Ten Commandments split up, and they seem to get along fine. Though Gloxinia likes to tease him by calling him "Balor", Drole nonetheless accommodates his plans for the Great Fight Festival and helps with all the preparations. Gloxinia and Drole were close friends and comrades-in-arms during the war against the Demon Clan. Gloxinia seems to care for his comrade as during their fights with Meliodas he healed Drole without hesitation several times using his Inochi no Shizuku technique even though he stated later that it was limited in uses.

Zeldris
During his time with the Commandments, Gloxinia respected Zeldris very much and viewed him as a suitable leader. However, after leaving the Commandments Gloxinia is no longer on good terms on him and views him as a common enemy.

Others

Rou
Gloxinia initially was fond of Rou and liked him, but when the humans betrayed the other clans, and he found Gerheade "dead" in his arms, he brutally killed him. Gloxinia hated Rou because he thought he killed his sister but after realizing the truth he began to like him more than he realized he kept his promise to Gerheade and reincarnate in Oslo, protecting her like he said.

His commandment of Repose appears to be based on the commandment "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy", which dictates resting and the cessation of all work on the seventh day.
In his first debut until the reveal, Gloxinia was mistaken for a girl because of his effeminate appearance and the octopus tentacles wrapped around him that he was given the fanname "Octololi".
According to his power level, Gloxinia has the highest amount of magic power and the lowest amount of strength power measured thus far alongside the other fairies.
In the anime, Gloxinia has mistakenly the same demon mark as Meliodas and his brothers, instead of his unique design.
Gloxinia placed 17th in the second Popularity poll.

Drole - Ten commandments - Seven deadly Sins

Drole「ドロール」, also known to humans as Balor「バロール」, is recognized as the founder of the Giant Clan, their former King and a god by some, according to the clan's legends. He later defected to be an elite warrior of the Demon Clan, serving directly under the Demon King as the Patience of the Ten Commandments, but ultimately left and returned to affiliate with his previous clan

Drole is a massive giant, towering over other giants such as Diane and Matrona. His skin is light blue, and he has four arms, with the normally positioned pair each having an arm band. He wears tattered orange pants with skull patterns on the lining, and has a tattered orange bag covering his head. He also has brown hair. He is missing his left eye, now having only scar tissue covering the socket. This feature is usually covered by his bangs. When he was a part of the Ten Commandments, his demon mark was located on his butt.
When Drole was freed from the Coffin of Eternal Darkness, his entire body was incredibly malnourished and hunched down before he gradually regains his full strength and proper posture after absorbing enough magic power as time passes by.

Personality
Drole is a calm individual who rarely speaks but when he does, he does so politely. He appears to believe greatly in fate and putting everything you have into battle. Being a giant, Drole possesses a great deal of warrior pride as is noted by giants that in battle it's shameful to flee for whatever reason. He proves his adherence to this principle by choosing to side with the Ten Commandments after Zeldris defeated him quite easily and was shocked that Diane chose to flee instead during her trial.

After seeing how Diane's love made her stronger than the combat power most giants valued, Drole eventually saw the errors in the way he ruled the Giant Clan into becoming nothing but warriors. He then acknowledged that choosing either victory or death in battle was actually cowardly itself as the giants under his rule simply didn't have the courage to retreat when necessary. For this, he believed that Diane can make the Giant Clan prosper again and thus choose to become her shield, appointing her to be the new Giant queen.

Despite his stoic demeanor, Drole still does have a humorous side, as shown when he bursts out laughing at Gloxinia's impersonation of Meliodas.

History

3,000 years ago
According to the myths of the giants, Drole was a highly respected ancestor of the Giant Clan, having developed a sacred dance with deep connections to nature and earth.[3] Since his childhood, Drole was isolated from his clan for his abnormal size, mysterious eye, four arms and blue skin. Despite this, since the Giant Clan values the strength above all things, they celebrate Drole as the Giant King. During the Holy War, he fought alongside both Gloxinia and Meliodas as members of Stigma in order to defeat the Demon King and once prove to be the most powerful warrior of all. But his pride was shattered after easily being defeated by Zeldris. [4] This humiliation, lead to him siding with the Demon Clan, and even becoming a demon himself, as one of the Ten Commandments.

He was eventually sealed away along with the rest of the Demon Clan, by the Goddess Clan after losing the Ancient War against the other four races (humans, giants, fairies, and goddesses).

Abilities and Equipment

As a member of the Ten Commandments and a legendary warrior of the Giant Clan, Drole is extremely powerful. After receiving a Commandment from the Demon King, Drole obtained powers related to the Demon Clan, like their unique power of darkness, similar to Meliodas' at Vaizel. He is capable of utilizing this dark power to form helicopter-shaped wings for flight. His aura, combined with the aura of the other Ten Commandments is so terrifying that it made the normally calm Hendrickson sweat in fear by their presence and unnerved Meliodas when he sensed it several kilometers away. Matrona, upon first encountering his labyrinth could sense his power in the center, miles away, and noted how extraordinary it is.Futhermore, Drole with Gloxinia help is also powerful enough to go toe-toe with Chandler the highest-ranked Demon when he is using his full power and hold their own against him for a short amount of time.

Owing to his great size and physical strength, Drole has an incredible physical constitution and endurance, being able to get up and begin fighting Meliodas almost immediately after taking a massive attack from Escanor head on, which was capable of destroying the giant boulder that crushed Vaizel, and threw him through his own labyrinth. He is able to endure attacks from Meliodas with his Demon Mark activated and showing no outward reaction from having his arms cut off or standing completely unfazed while allowing Diane to land multiple direct attacks all over his body with Gideon.

Being the largest giant so far in the series along with being their former king, Drole possesses the greatest amount of physical strength of giants being able to send Diane, another giant, flying away a considerable distance with just the heel of his palm even when she increased her weight with Heavy Metal. He was also able to easily incapacitate her with just one of his palm strikes when her Heavy Metal was dissipated by him which is considerable as she was able to remain conscious and continue fighting even when wounded by multiple Great Holy Knight level opponents before.

Despite his enormous size, Drole also has great speed and agility as he was able to effortlessly dodge Diane's Crazy Rush all the while performing his sacred dance that dissipated her magic.

Abilities

Ground「大地グラウンド Guraundo」: Drole inherent power which appears to be a variant of the giant's standard power: Creation. His control over the earth is incredible and his power dwarfs that of Matrona. Using this skill he was able to change the entire landscape of the former Vaizel fighting arena and the surrounding area into a gargantuan labyrinth that stretched for miles with elaborate traps and restored itself when damaged, easily summon two giant hands which easily eclipse Diane's "Mother Catastrophe" boulder in size, and can create golems of earth, all with a few simple hand gestures. He is also able to manipulate the giant hands to swiftly capture dozens of foes. Combing his sacred dance with his earth manipulating magic, Drole is able to dissipate the Creation magic of lesser giants due to his greater connection with the Earth.
Drole's Dance: By performing a special dance, Drole is able to increase his connection to the earth, while increasing his power level the more he carries it out.

Magical Eye: Drole is seemingly able to determine the strength of his opponents and read people's minds simply by looking after him. Merlin's magical item Balor's Magical Eye is named after him (or rather his unwanted alias) because of this quality. The eye is unable to read Meliodas for reasons unknown.
Time Regression Spell: A technique from the Goddess Clan that allows to send the soul of some being towards the past.

Commandment

Drole was bestowed with the commandment of Patience「忍耐 Nintai」 by the Demon King. The effects of its curse are currently unknown.

Relationships

Meliodas
He and Meliodas were once comrades-in-arms before he and Gloxinia joined the Demon Clan. Even in battle the two can calmly speak to one another, and Meliodas is known very well to be cautious of Drole's "Magical Eye". He said Meliodas was strong enough that if he wished, he could claim the throne of the Demon King for his own.

Later on in the latter, Drole's dying wish was to speak to his old friend, Meliodas, once more.

Ten Commandments

Gloxinia

Gloxinia and he paired up when the Ten Commandments spread out to take over Britannia so they seem to get along well. He has been very accommodating to his plans for a "fighting festival", building a labyrinth and setting the stage even though he seems to consider the entire affair as imitating humans and playing around. Drole seems to care for his fairy comrade as he protected him from Meliodas during their fight, notably by gathering an injured Gloxinia in his hand and protecting him against Meliodas' Kami Chigiri using his Heavy Metal even though Drole was himself injured. The reason for this closeness is that they were comrade-in-arms before becoming demons, having fought together against the Demon King before changing sides.

Giant Clan

Diane

Despite originally being his enemy, Diane made an impression on Drole. During the Great Fight Festival arc, Drole originally had no opinion of her whatsoever, but later during the festival he was impressed by how she was able to defeat his golem during the festival with golems of her own, and noticed her deep connection to nature and the earth. Long after the festival, he and Gloxinia approached Diane and King respectively, took them both and told them of their intent to betray the Ten Commandments to train them as their successors, after which they briefly fought and sent them both to the past as part of their trial. During the trial, Diane learned much about Drole, the holy war, and his past decision to join the Ten Commandments, and in turn Drole watched her during the trial and was not only glad she passed the trial, but was shocked by Diane's decision to flee instead of joining the commandments, a decision Drole himself admitted he never would have thought to have make back then.

After seeing this and seeing how Diane's love made her stronger than the combat power most giants valued, Drole eventually saw the errors in the way he ruled the Giant Clan into becoming nothing but warriors. He then acknowledged that choosing either victory or death in battle was actually cowardly itself as the giants under his rule simply didn't have the courage to retreat when necessary. For this, he not only befriended the giant girl, but came to greatly respect her, so much, so he believed that Diane can make the Giant Clan prosper once again and thus choose to become her shield, and he helps her escape during his fight with Chandler. He even used his final words to her to appoint her to be the next ruler of the giant clan and proudly stated his intent to protect the new "Giant Queen".
