2CIELOS

2CELLOS BIOGRAPHY

The meteoric success of 2CELLOS started when former cello rivals Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser decided to join forces. In January 2011, they uploaded a unique cello version of “Smooth Criminal” by Michael Jackson onto YouTube. Within just a few weeks, their video became a huge viral sensation, receiving over 5 million views. This led to a record deal with SONY MASTERWORKS and an invitation to join Elton John on his worldwide tour.
Luka and Stjepan’s success extends way beyond YouTube and their fanbase continues to grow around the world.
The duo has appeared on National TV shows like The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, The Ellen DeGeneres Show (twice in 6 months!) and Stefan Raab’s TV total in Germany.
On January 31st they appeared as the special musical guests on Fox’s hit TV series GLEE where they performed “Smooth Criminal” in the Michael Jackson tribute episode. This was the first time that an instrumental duo had performed on the show in this coveted guest spot. The 2CELLOS’ arrangement of the song, which featured actors Grant Gustin and Naya Rivera, sold incredibly well debuting at #10 on the Billboard Hot 100 Digital Songs Chart and landing the 2CELLOS album in the Top 100.
Luka Sulic and Stjepan Hauser have played the cello since childhood. They completed their studies in 2011 – Luka graduated from the acclaimed Royal Academy of Music in London, and Stjepan at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.
Luka has performed all over the world at renowned venues including London’s Wigmore Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Vienna’s Musikverein and Konzerthaus. He has won a series of international prizes including first and special prize at the VII Lutoslawski International Cello Competition (Warsaw, 2009).
Stjepan has also performed around the world in most European countries, South Africa, New Zealand, Asia and the USA, with debuts in London’s Wigmore Hall, Royal Albert Hall, South Bank Centre and Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw. He was the last pupil of Mstislav Rostropovich. In his short career, Stjepan has already been awarded first prize in twenty-one national and international competitions, and he has performed twice for Prince Charles at Buckingham and St James‘s Palace.
The duo is currently on a worldwide tour with Elton John and performing on solo dates as well. They are preparing to record their second album which will come out in Fall 2012.

Ang Babaeng Impakta

Babaeng Impakta

The Babaeng Impakta (roughly translated 'Demon Woman') was one of Darna's original enemies from the 1940's. She is comprised of two beings

There was once a rich  girl (Roma (TV3))  she was beautiful like an angel and sweet and kind but with the defect people oft thought of as a hump on her back. What was unknown to everyone was that she actually had a this demonic twin conjoined to her- a demon that wished evil upon the world and tried many times to get her to give in to murderous urges. Roma was at first, able to sate her demonic twin's temptation. She falls in love with a young man, but she later discovers that the young man was merely using her for her money. Then and there, she gives in to Impy and murders the man and his secret lover.

Eventually the original Darna defeats her along with three other villains. However a storm reveals the four encased in hail-blocks. Upon their discovery,Dr. Danilo Morgan quickly acquires them. Because of his tweaking the casings, the four manage to escape and wreak havoc around the town of San Martin. The villainesses demand to see Darna but instead are faced by the Keeper of the Stone (the original Darna) who promises to give them the stone, if they leave the town alone. The Keeper keeps her promise but only gives little of the power to the four villainesses before a darkness consumes them.
However, the darkness releases the twin demons in the form of the Demon Woman and she once again begins to wreak havoc on her own, taking hearts from men and leaving the corpses at the foot of the original Darna's memorial. Roma appears to project her hatred of her ex-lover and his secret lover onto every single one of her victims.

When Darna finds Roma attacking the town once again, she fights her off and manages to separate the twins. Due to the shock of the forced separation, both the Impy and Roma apparently die.
Separated, they later both come back to life, freed from each other, with Roma seeking retribution and Impy looking to act as symbiote and feed hatred to a new host.

During the separation of Roma and Impy, Roma seeks for forgiveness and falls in love with a man. Meanwhile, Impy choosed random people to be controlled by him. The victims that were controlled by Impy where Eduardo,Ms. Perfecta and Carding. All of them were un-controlled thanks to Darna. Then days later, Impy came to Roma. Roma sprayed church water on Impy so that Impy can die. Impy pretended that he is dying. Then, Gabriel appeared angry at Roma. Then, Impy was about to kill Gabriel but Roma said no. Then, Roma finds out the truth ans Impy controlled Roma again! She became Babaeng Impakta. The next day, Babaeng Impakta went to Narda where she attacked her. Narda escapes from Babaeng Impakta and Nara turns to Darna. Then, B. Impakta appears and impy went to Darna and the Superhero was controlled by Impy. This should likely turn Babaeng Impakta back to Roma. Then, a lot of things happened to Roma and Impy. Then, both of them were captured separately by Dr. Morgan and Dr. Morgan made an agreement with Impy. She has a baby whom Kobra impregnated her. Her child is named as Zuma, soon-to-be Valentina's half sister.

The day of Babaeng Impakta's death

After Roma and Impy escaped from the laboratory , Impy kills the policeman that were trying to kill Roma. Then, Roma decided that she wants to be evil again. So she finds Impy and Impy goes to her back. Both of them caused chaos in the city later. Then, Impy was driving an ambulance. Then, Darna stopped him and Darna trowed him to the bushes. Then, Roma tells Darna that Roma should kill herself so Impy will die so the city will be saved. Roma went to the top of Father Mateo's church. Then, Roma quietly killed herself by dropping to the ground from the top of the church. Roma dies. Then, Impy dies before he killed 2 people with fire. Babaeng Impakta ended her life. Her child, Zuma, was, at first, in custody by Gabriel and then by Kobra.
In 2010, Roma is reappearing in "Darna".

Difference from the Comic Book

§  Impy's appearance was a reptilian like green creature but her looks were altered on TV series to make her appearance more scary.
§  Impy was never separated from Roma, She was a permanent parasite living  in Roma's body
§  Roma didn't die on the comic book. Darna was able to save her by killing Impy with the use of holywater. Giving her a chance for a normal happy life, a happier ending compared to her television counterpart
§  Roma is Impy's only host

ROMA – BABAENG IMPAKTA: THE DEMON WITHIN

Beneath the veil of innocence, behind the face of a once-beautiful girl, lurks something far more sinister… something unnatural. Roma was not always a monster. She was once the cherished daughter of a wealthy, God-fearing family, born into privilege and love. But fate had something far more grotesque in store for her.

From the moment she came into this world, something was wrong. A deformity clung to her back like a parasite—a hideous, misshapen hump that made the townspeople whisper and avert their eyes. They called it a curse, a punishment from the heavens, an omen of something far more terrifying. And as Roma grew, so did the darkness festering within her.

THE DEMON AWAKENS

One fateful day, inside the hallowed halls of a church, Roma collapsed. Her body convulsed, her eyes rolled back, and her lips trembled with a voice that was not her own. Her parents, stricken with fear, turned to a witch doctor, desperate for salvation. But the truth was even worse than they imagined. Roma was not possessed by a demon—she carried one inside her.

Buried within the twisted flesh of her hump was her parasitic twin, a being of malice and destruction. They called her Impy—a grotesque entity, nothing more than a deformed head and clawed arms, whispering blasphemies into Roma’s ear. Though Roma fought against the voice, it was relentless, a poison dripping into her soul, corrupting her will, twisting her mind.

THE FIRST KILL

Her battle against the demon was lost the night she met Toto—the only man who ever looked past her deformity… or so she thought. He married her, whispered sweet nothings, made her believe she was worthy of love. But it was all a lie. Roma’s world shattered when she discovered Toto in the arms of another woman. Her rage festered, turned black, twisted into something monstrous. And Impy, oh, Impy fed on that rage.

With a voice like honeyed poison, Impy whispered:
"Kill them, sister… make them suffer."

Roma tried to resist. But she was no longer the master of her own body. The demon took control. And before the night was over, Toto and his mistress lay on the floor, their chests torn open, their still-warm hearts gripped in Roma’s trembling hands. She watched, horrified, as Impy devoured them, licking her lips in ecstasy.

That night, Babaeng Impakta was truly born.

A MONSTER UNLEASHED

When the original Darna rose to face her, Roma was no longer the broken girl hiding in the shadows. She was something else. Something with unnatural strength, something that could fly, something that knew no mercy. She laughed as she soared through the sky, the power of Darna’s stolen abilities burning in her veins.

One by one, she tore through San Martin, ripping out the hearts of the innocent, leaving behind corpses with hollow chests and faces frozen in terror. The town watchmen, sworn to protect the people, were nothing but playthings to her, their flesh ripped open like paper, their bodies left in the gutters as warnings.

Even Darna hesitated. For behind the monster’s face, there was still Roma—a prisoner in her own skin, a slave to the demon on her back.

THE FALL OF BABAENG IMPAKTA

Darna knew she couldn’t fight the beast head-on. Instead, she struck at the core of the curse—the bond between the twins. As they fought, she found an opening and wrenched Impy from Roma’s back, tearing the monstrous twin from her sister’s spine.

Impy howled. The sky darkened. The earth trembled.

For the first time in her life, Roma could feel silence in her mind. No whispers. No hunger. Just… peace. But it came at a cost.

Impy, though weakened, was still alive. And she was furious.

Separated from Roma, the demon lashed out, taking possession of anyone it could find—a beggar, a teacher, even a priest—turning them into her puppets, forcing them to commit unspeakable acts. But without her original host, she was vulnerable. One by one, Darna found the victims and freed them from Impy’s grip.

Roma, finally free from the demon’s grasp, wept for the lives she had taken. She fell in love once more, trying desperately to make amends, to live a normal life. But Impy was never far away, lurking in the shadows, waiting for her chance to return.

THE FINAL SACRIFICE

It was only a matter of time before Impy found her way back to Roma. The demon whispered once more, coaxing her back into darkness. But Roma refused. She knew there was only one way to end the nightmare.

With Darna watching, Roma climbed to the top of the church steeple. The bells tolled. The wind howled. Below, the people of San Martin gasped as she stood on the edge, staring into the abyss.

Impy shrieked, "NO! YOU CAN’T!"

Roma closed her eyes… and let go.

She plunged into the earth, her body shattering against the cobblestone. And with her final breath, Impy’s scream echoed through the night
