Shiratama - The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master

 

Shiratama (白珠) is a character, the third princess of the North Family, from the Japanese fantasy novel series Yatagarasu and the anime adaptation Yatagarasu: The Raven Does Not Choose Its Master (Karasu wa Aruji wo Erabanai). Voiced by Rie Kugimiya, she is known for her pale complexion and jet-black hair and is a prominent figure within the series' world of shapeshifting, three-legged raven-human beings. 

Shirayuki - Itsuhime

 

Shirayuki is the priestess, called "Itsukihime," who serves the fire god worshipped in Kazuno. She chose duty over love and sacrificed her feelings for Jinta to fulfill her sacred role. The Itsuhime is secluded and kept away from sight and hidden to maintain their purity and power. Only the Sentinel assigned to her gaze at her face without covering.

Kokorowa goddess of inventions

 

Kokorowa is a high-ranking goddess residing in the Lofty Realm; her overall demeanour is calm and collected in direct contrast to her best friend Sakuna; Kokorowa is both literally and metaphorically the blue to Sakuna's red. She has worked hard to reach where she is as a high-ranking goddess despite her low birth, and is keen to gain the favour of Lady Kamuhitsuki.

As an inventor goddess, one of Kokorowa's well-known inventions are the automatons standing guard over the Mihashira Capital.

• Kokorowa writes books under the author pseudonym Koushi Oborozuki, AKA Sakuna's favourite author - though she does not know this is Kokorowa.
• Kokorowa's name consists of "Kokoro", meaning "heart/mind" to convey her bright nature, and "wa" (wheel) as she is the goddess of tools and invention.
• She is based on Omoikane from Japanese mythology.
• Kokorowa was designed to contrast Sakuna - i.e. balanced, looks smart, and wears makeup beautifully
