Gram, the Forgotten Hero

Gram is a legendary hero from Alneath who, 500 years ago, defeated the demon lord Veltol in a decisive battle. The victory came at a great cost Gram fell into a long slumber, only to be revived centuries later by Machina. As a reward for his triumph, the goddess Meldia granted him eternal youth, leaving him with the appearance of a man in his twenties despite his true age.

Though once celebrated, Gram’s deeds gradually faded from memory. After the Fantasion, he drifted into the life of a mercenary. Over time, political betrayals and endless wandering left him disillusioned and bitter, a fallen hero who had once known glory but could not hold on to it. By the present day, he lives in hiding in the slums of Shinjuku, more myth than man.

Appearance
Gram has short blond hair, sapphire-blue eyes, and the youthful face of a man in his prime. He wears shining silver knight’s armor with gray gloves and a flowing blue cape, symbolizing his heroic image. His weapon is the divine sword Ixasorde, a gift from the goddess Meldia, which he carries with him at all times.

Traits & Themes

  • The Ageless: Gifted eternal youth by Meldia, Gram has endured centuries without aging.

  • Blessed with Suck: Though his immortality was meant as a reward, it only deepened his loneliness and despair. He believes short lives carry meaning, and his attempts to maintain balance led humanity to turn against him.

  • Fallen Hero: Once celebrated for his victory over Veltol, Gram lacked political skill and was stripped of his fiefdom, exiled, and vilified. His glory turned to ashes.

  • Knight in Sour Armor: Though weary and cynical, Gram still carries traces of his old idealism, even if he doubts his place in the world.

  • No Good Deed Goes Unpunished: His reward brought him only suffering, and his exile proved how fragile heroism can be in the face of politics.

  • Who Wants to Live Forever?: Immortality has not been a gift, but a burden that robbed him of peace.

  • World’s Strongest Man: Despite his fall, he remains the man who once defeated Veltol the only foe the demon lord ever considered a worthy rival.

Albedo is a virgin Succubus, a demoness with wings that resemble those of a fallen angel. An impeccable beauty, Albedo is a tall woman with lustrous jet-black hair and the face of a goddess. She has golden irises and vertically split pupils; on her left and right temples are two thick horns protruding crookedly, and on her waist are a pair of black angel wings. Albedo wears a pure white dress with silky gloves covering her slender hands and a golden spiderweb necklace that covers her shoulders and chest. In combat, she wears an impressive black full plate armor with an unique helmet and carries a battle-axe with her.

 Personality

Extremely loyal and in love, Albedo is infatuated and needy/clingy with Ainz, often showing obsessive tendencies when it comes to his affairs. She is always vying for Ainz's affections, showcasing outbursts of jealousy whenever anyone else appears to be getting close to him. Yet despite this, she states that as the Supreme Ruler, it would be bizarre for him to only take one wife, implying that she would be content with him taking others as wives as long as she is the one he loves the most. Due to her nature as a succubus and how she was programmed by Ainz to be in love with him, Albedo is quite assertive to a fault. She sometimes loses control of herself around what Ainz says to the point of going to extreme actions, such as almost raping him against his will. Among all the Guardians, she is the most vocal when it comes to expressing her opinions. Albedo will openly denounce any statement or action she deems inappropriate, reaching the point where Ainz sometimes considers it an annoyance. As the Overseer of the Floor Guardians, she is very level-headed. Albedo can make calm and collected judgments that even Ainz sometimes doesn't think of. She takes Ainz's orders as a top priority and absolute, punishing anyone, even a Floor Guardian, who'd dare to belittle or not take it seriously. According to Ainz, he can sense that Albedo harbors hatred and hostility toward humans, whom she calls an inferior species although there is very few exceptions. Albedo can easily lose self-restraint and go mad if Ainz is harmed or insulted, even by an attack that may not hurt him or the insult is not intentionally whatsoever. She becomes very emotional whenever Ainz is put under mortal danger, such as a life-or-death situation, or if he considers abandoning her.
