Rice goddess

The little rice and harvest goddess Sakuna is banished to Hinoe Island, Sakuna begins as a spoiled high-ranking goddess who refuses to so much as even help out on the farm in the belief that a high-ranking goddess such as her should even work, and has little respect for the children of men she is forced to live with. Over time she learns the value of work, the power of rice, and the true value of friendship.

Sakuna's personality is somewhat abrasive and she speaks in a somewhat informal manner of speech, in contrast to her companion Tama, though her vocabulary itself is closer to that of Tama than Kinta.
