Beryl Gardenant is a swordsmanship instructor formerly based in the backwater town of Beaden. He inherited the seat of instructor after his father Mordea retired from teaching at the Gardenant dojo.

Several years later, he became a special instructor for the Liberion Order after a recommendation from his former student Allucia Citrus, now its current knight commander. Due to this, Beryl is presently residing in Baltrain, the capital city of the Liberis Kingdom.
